Just in case anyone has one of these handy, do you know the length? It's a 3/8" stud, 26tpi.
It's the front lower one, and the horn mounts on the LH end.
I can just make it up of course but, just in case anyone has one handy...

just measured the one of my CB34 and it is 195 mm long!

Thx gentleman, there are x 2 part numbers for this stud, probably one is longer - suitable for horn mounting, the other prob shorter one for the scrambler with no horn. I'll make a longer one - (my bike was originally a grass-tracker which could explain it having the shorter one).

dont forget the 2 bushings under the metal front engine cover can measure them if you need .

Yes -I assume you mean the spacers, Mine are good. Just need to make and fit the longer stud so I can fit the original Lucas horn (that weighs about 2 tonnes!)  *smile*

ahhh, that would be the mass damper for the engine vibration then Jools  *eek*....

The Altettes are heavy beasts but very handsome. Someone posted the link to an excellent list of all the stud lengths and diameters for the A10 Swinging Arm which was extremely useful when I manufactured all my own fastenings.
