anyone know anything about this? was this the beginning of the A7/A10

 This has featured before on the Forum. It is also described  in Roy Bacons BSA Twins and Triples. Pictured on Page 12 of my edition. 1938/39 Prototype. SOHC, cam driven by bevel gears, driveshaft in external vertical tunnel. Looks like Kawasaki came across this concept for their later retro look.
