Well I managed to do as you all suggested, I think I have it sorted. I need to order a new drive wheel but looks like the timing is set.
I have lots of utter things to add so it'll be a while before I get to kick her in the guts and see what she does,( in oz terms).
I will get beers for whoever visits Zambia, if you're in the UK I can get my mum to bake you a cake. Haha
