1954 A10 Project for sale
« on: 10.03. 2023 12:07 »
Hello, all.

Last year some of you kindly gave me good advice about my seized 1954 A10. As Ii haven't really progressed with it since and feel possibly I am now in over my head, I have (currently) decided to test the water and offer it for sale. I have put it on Gumtree at 'a price' to see what interest I get, but also wanted to let the forum know of it's availability.

The link is:

Thanks for reading this!

Stephen.

G'day Stephen.
I don't want to offend you but.
A lot of work with that one. Pic #9 is about how I got my A7 plunger and add 1" of chook poo over it. Took about a year and AU$3000 back in "81. Gives you an idea of cost to bring back to life. If I were to make an offer it would be £1000 tops.
Very best of luck with it.
Cheers

Hello.
Thanks for your comments as I need to gauge whereabouts with this I should be.
Greybeard: I will check the box of parts as the head may be part of a lot that came with an A65.

I just had to laugh at myself. I just saw the closeup and in-focus version of the pic with the A65 (A50?) head. Until now, using my smallish phone, I had only seen the fuzzy pic that GB posted. Wasn't I surprised when the K2F sitting on top of that cylinder head turned out to be a plastic jar with some stuff sticking out of it.  :o *doh* ;D

Nah, it's your eyesight, Richard. Solution - use a camera for pics and a 'phone for talking to people. No pic capability on my 'phone....
