A flying pig

One cynic on hearing the idea that cargo could be carried by air, allegedly claimed that pigs will fly first. This may explain the following photo taken on 4 November 1909:

I'm surprised this has come up as a discussion, we have had flying pigs here in South Australia for years............

Given the uncertainty of early flight another use for the piglet would have been a post crash roast ! wonder where the spuds went ??
