Looks like a Chinese copy of a Mikuni. It might be ok.

I just installed a PWK/JRC on my '58 500 twin that works great. I have real Mikunis on my Honda CL350 and they are very good. Though, in my experience, the PWK/JRCs are much less fiddly to tune correctly.

G'day worty.
Russian design  *eek* Chinese made  *eek* *eek* *pull hair out* Their turning them out to fit everything even Harleys *ex*
Agree with Magista, PWK/JRC much better quality and cheaper than new Amals.
Cheers

worty they are conckycentrics they are called this because with slide wear they are a bit suspect to set the tick over with the slide dancing about, monoblocks don't seem to get the same symptoms when their slides wear

Much obliged Bergs.  By the way, on the subject of fuel, what do you recommend.  Used to run super unleaded with Valvemaster+ to overcome the pinking, but that may have changed now.  Leaded, super unleaded, additive - what d'you reckon??

G'da Worty.
Another + for the premium concentrics is the pilot jet is accessible from the outside (don't have to drop the bowl on early ones, non changeable on later ones) and a "stay up float" with a metal adjustable tang, and made from proper aluminium.
I use 98 in both mine. As Burger said she will soon let you know. Higher octane fuel needs the timing one to one/half degrees advanced as it burns slower but with more punch.
Cheers

They are a bit ugly imho. The A10 and 7 are very pretty machines and look best with a monobloc or pre monobloc setup. They are both very repairable and at a fairly reasonable cost. I can't see any reason to change.

I concur, Slymo, they are lovely looking machines - works of art IMO.
