It's another BSA and in the right section. Looks good to me.
Even though I'll never buy one I'm still very interested.

 I'd be looking for the biggest and meanest security chain and perhaps ordering some additional home security. I like the AK47 type, a design guaranteed to work under the most arduous conditions........so they say. You could stick with another product of BSA, this one almost silent in operation. Happy memories of a mis-spent youth.

I agree. GB's shed looks a bit vulnerable.
I have full motion and heat sensing alarm in shed and house. A mouse will set it off. Also motion sensing flood lights with battery back up. Then there's the baseball bat beside front & back door! Shame I don't have a semi auto with muffler any more.

Musky - wasn't referring to the appropriateness of referring to the bike in question - after all, my vee twins have been mentioned - but rather the fact the bike ain't what it's referred to as.
I genuinely hope Neil likes it, but have this nagging doubt - this is a modern single and, as such, is highly unlikely to be the gentle plodder A7's can be. A single - especially modern - is a different experience compared with older bikes. Even the original - real - Gold Star was a bitch to ride in its later format.

I do get your point.
I just think for older riders that can't kick a real BSA or can't fiddle like you and I. An electrick leg and little need to work on ones self it would be a good thing. Even if it's just seeing the emblem when they open the shed door.

I did have a test ride. The engine is very smooth thanks to a balancer shaft. The bike reminded me of my Triumph Trailblazer, that is a good thing because I Ioved that bike 👍. The new GS has almost none of the characteristics of the historic version, possibly more like the second generation, from the 70's?
