G'day GB.
I love watching trials but haven't got the balance to do it. I need to go a bit faster to stay upright. These ones tickle my fancy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toZ68zabIdI

OK so what model Ariel has an oil bearing frame ?
How about a heavily modified B 50 frame
Although that rear downtube looks very much like a BSA/Triumph OIF frame but the oil filer cap is in the wrong ( engineering right) position where the B5- filler cap was .
What did  Cheeny frame or CCM frame look like ?

Hi All,
I only just saw this post, but I can identify whats going on with the trials BSA/ Ariel
The frame is a replica Ariel HT5, the trials model which was made famous by a certain SM
Ariel only made 400-450 of these bikes of which several thousand remain  *eek*
I own an original 1957 one bought as a bare frame and a 5 gallon bucket of parts *pull hair out*
I paid £27(?) for the kit in 1979, Many years later I found the original engine bottom end for it  *smile*

Don't care what it is, I need it!
Anyone want to buy a kidney, reasonable condition for age, almost full working order, several miles left in it I reckon.
