Doug Fraser's 1140 cc BSA B66 V-Twin - Doug Fraser, of Melbourne, Australia, put two BSA B33 top ends together on a home-designed crankcase, with a hybrid crankshaft.

He made 3 of them from differen erras
Usually rides one to the BSA nationals and trailors to the All British Rally ( latter this month ) and to the BSA internationals  ( as he bings several bikes to thoose ).
Done a couple of laps of the Newstead grounds on all of them because Doug is a gentleman in every meaning of the word and very happy to share his bikes with almost anyone if he is not relying on it to get him home .Which even extends to me .
So if you come to the BSA international In Hhandorf Adelaide latter this year you could have a spin on it too .( might be a long que though ).
This was the first one https://www.oldbikemag.com.au/doug-frasers-empire-twin/
HE did an electric start Gold Star that he did for his other half before he did that B66 which she rides more than the GS now days .
Note the Empire Twin sits in an almost std M20 frame & drives through a std 20 gearbox .
And for those wanting a better brake for their A 10's note the brake description of the Empire Twin
Doug is also responsible for putting a BSA Fury back on the road and he regularly brings that to ABR's as well but I am yet to toss a leg over it as the que is very long .
Nothing odd to see it pass me 20 times in a 50km ride with a different pilot every time .

Doug is one in a million, he builds what others only dream about.
He had a Hockley two stroke engine that he found at the tip a long time ago and built a veteran motorcycle around it.
V twin #1 Empire twin. Pre war style, same engine as the post above in a rigid frame with girder forks.
V twin #2 B66. See GB pics. Post war style, electric start, 5 speed Triumph gearbox and disc brakes.
V twin #3 A modern V twin motorcycle in a trellis frame, built only for racing.
V twin #4 A modern road bike with the same V twin engine as #3. Sportster/Bonneville styling.
A B50 with Suzuki? suspension to end up with a BSA enduro bike.

All three V-twins were featured in Real Classic mag some months back. He's a clever bloke right enough.

Imagine if Doug Fraser and Allen Millyard got together. What wonders would they come up with?

These bikes of his are such a dream of mine. I would own one in an instant if there was a chance at having one built for you.

Gets tricky
Doug can do it in Victoria because the rules allow it
IN NSW you would have to get an engineering certificate before it could be registered and that would add another $ 5,000 to $ 10,0000 to the price plus a hefty green slip insurance bill.
Doug can do them in Victoria and put them on classic / historic type of plate  so it is viable
