thread sizes

where can i get a list of thread sizes and pitches for the A7 engine and other bits ???? EG:- this bolt is a 3/8ths dia and 24TPI cycle thread.  as i have lots of taps and dies as i used to be a tool setter/engineer and i inherited a few from a uncle who did model making. thanks in advance.ANDY.

G'day Andy, you will find most of the threads are 26 tpi 55* cycle thread which is similar to brass thread but dif angle 60*. Some BSF thread for head bolts, rear sprocket studs etc. Most studs are whit/cyc. Then throw in a few BA screws and whit cover (timing, primary, g/box) screws. Pretty sure a member posted a list not long back.

Hi Andy,
If you look at, for example, mdmetric.com (there be others) you'll see pretty well all sizes and forms listed most helpfully with diagrams etc as well. 3/8 24 is UNF not Cycle. UNC/F are 60 degrees, as is metric and Cycle. BSF and WW and Brass are 'whitform' and 55 degrees. BA is 47.5 and mostly confined to electrical kit. Most Cycle stuff is 26tpi, with 20 tpi options in larger sizes. You'll also meet BSP/Gas threads, for fuel taps etc. 1/8th and 1/4 are the usual ones. Tracy Tools in Devon can supply pretty well all threading tackle ever needed if your stock doesn't cover it already!
