Longstroke Cylinder Barrel Construction
« on: 10.06. 2024 13:04 »
The Longstroke Cylinder Barrel differs from the later type in that each bore has a raised locating spigot recessed into the cylinder head casting. I always thought these were machined from the parent rough casting, but several ebay listings lately have made reference to  "damaged liners" so in fact these spigots could be the tops of pressed on liners.

So, anyone know how these barrels were originally made?
