Hi Steve,
That looks alright, although obviously you will have to remove the top right g/box plate to get the gearbox in.
It looks like you`re getting on with the job, frame looks good! BTW you mentioned somewhere recently that the rebuild is costing more than you thought it would, well, i reckon everyone here has said that as well at some time, so welcome to the highly rewarding A7/A10 rebuild club! *beer*

Gosh you don't mess about do you? That is coming along a treat, keep the touch up brush handy though as you'll have plenty of chips and knocks. Supa mate... Keep it coming!

Hi Steve,

Small point, I believe the footrest mounts are on the wrong side. The longer of the two needs to be on the clutch side.

Cheers

Hi Desburnett, thanks, you were correct.I have another strange question. When the swing arm is in the horizontal position, there is a distance of 3 mm on the left hand side, when it is raised to the max(although it would never ever get so high )the right hand side touches the lefthand frame, even accounting for the 1959 non prescison workshop metalwork, this means either the frame or swing arm is a little bent,(the swing arm cross over tube has no play it it).should I be concerned ??

Steve, if you mean the swingarm touches the pillion loops on the frame when it is up further than it would go with a shock fitted, then i`m pretty sure they all do that. I may be corrected on that though.
