Wow, just realized that my bikes are 25 and 26 years older than me.
That must be the reason why the old-timers in the street always tend to stare in disbelief when they see me kickstart one of my bikes and take off in front of a cafe or pub.  *smile*

MG, their old enough to be your parents ! Treat them with the same respect and they will look after you.

Hi there!

I'm a 1968, my A10 is 1960 (though 1954 engine), my B40 is 1967, as is my MGB GT. I do have a 1986 BMW R80 as my modern go-to-work bike during summer, a role the MG fills this winter.

G'day Stevenselva, welcome to the forum. Great to see young-uns enjoying old skool bikes.
Does anyone know the date the first A7 came off the line ?
Cheers

Although most would say about 1947, but I have a friend who has a genuine pre war girder A7 and he knows of two others that are in bits. Suspension of building of those early A7s was due to the war effort as the government ordered mostly M20s. [I think!]

I'm 19 years younger than my Super Meteor and depending on exactly how old my A10 is, 14-20 years.  Has anyone got that beat?

I can't possibly comment, as  it would be bad for my health, but the wife is very fond of the BSA

LOL
