I bought a new seat for my 61' A10 from these people and the quality was extremely good, not cheap but good stuff isnt. Give them a call.

Hi Nigel
I have an 1959 A10 SR which has been fitted with a Wassell seat (there is a sticker underneath). This was fitted by the previous owner so not sure where he got it but it looks the part. It does not look like it was refurbished - more like a newly manufactured item. I remember Wassell from back in the day - they manufacured a wide range of pattern parts and accessories and seemed to disappear for a while but it looks like they are now back on the scene. Not sure if they make a plunger version but may be worth a try.

Regards

Wassel can be found here www.totalbikebits.com don't think they sell to the general public but the site will point you to a local dealer.
There also used to be a link to all the stuff they made/imported so you could see if they had what you wanted.

All the best and a happy new year to you all - Bill

Guys,

Thanks for the quck response and I will have a look around. Don't mind spending a bit extra if the quality is right. Unfortunately as we all know, you sometimes pay a good price and still get crap - thats life I surpose!

If any one has some pictures of a dual seat especially the fittings, this would be great.

As Brian stated, Leighton's work is first class.
The majority of my seats are from them. They are supposed to be exactly like original.
Much superior to some of the shoddy ill shaped garbage that is on the market.
