My first A10
« on: 18.05. 2007 08:36 »
Sorry about the quality of the picture but I thought this may interest someone. When I was 15 I bought this A10 in a box in pieces. I bought a workshop manual and page by page put it together and had it registered for when I got my licence at 16. This photo was taken in 1971, 36 years ago. You will see it has some non original parts on it, a AJS front end [thanks to a certain fence]. You would think after 36 years of playing around with pommy bikes I would have learnt my lesson...obviously not !!!!!

Hi Brian
Here is a pic of my first BSA.  It is a 1960 A10 Gold Flash Chopper.  It was very rough an needed alot of work.  My girlfriend (now wife) bought it for me.  This started a long affair with whitworh hardware, wet sumping, and the coolest bikes ever made.  Jeff
