how will i know if i have an a10 or an a7

hi im new here and im from israel if it helps to anyone..
i have a bsa golden flash from 1959 and in its liences its an a7
someone who know good about bsa'

If you let us know what the engine and frame numbers are I can look the exact type and year up for you.

Hi. The easiest way to tell is that a 500cc  A7 has 7 fins on the cylinder barrel (below the head gasket face) and an 650cc A10 has 8! The numbers on the crankcase can be misleading!  I once bought an A7 bottom end only to find out that it was an A10 built into A7 crankcases. Regards, Peter

o.k my dad just told me that someone changed the engine in our bsa..  *smile*

ok this is it.. there is still allot of work to do.. but its my project..

Welcome. That looks like a very good project. Is it currently in running condition? If so, we assume you are enjoying the riding. I think of it as riding a time machine.
