rigid a7/a10 rear wheel

hi every one, rather fancy trying to build a rigid a10 useing bsa parts ie standard. can any one tell what the rear wheel is like ? was it common to other models was it qd type ? thanks mike

Mike,

For the first two years of production 1947 and 1948 the front and rear wheels both used the Q D crinkle hub and the wheels were inter changeable on the A7. From 1949 the front wheel was changed to a one piece hub, but I think that the rear wheel continued as before. The A10 never had inter changeable wheels.

Mike,
            At least from 1949 the rigid rear wheel and drum are the same as 1954-55 swinging arm types.
The brake plate is different.
