Help for oil linking

Hi to everyone.This is the first time in forum.
I would like to ask something.
I have BSA A10.I make recondition last week.But the last night i start the engine and linking oil from one hole.
My question is .... this bike has somthink like matchless who link oil when you stop?

Hello Renos...

I'm guessing here that you are referring to 'oil Leaking' and the one hole might be the rocker feeds am I correct? In which case there should be no oil leaking when engine has stopped. I have no knowledge of Matchless motorcycles but I shouldn't think they are supposed to leak either. Anyone care to add to this in case I'm wrong?  *conf*

Hi Renos
Is the oil coming from behind the primary Chaincase (between engine and gearbox) if so it could be just wet sumping maybe due to oil collected in the engine sump during restoration.
If it is wet sumping it might clear up after a run.
