Exhaust down pipes
« on: 29.01. 2011 16:02 »
Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me if a Rocket Goldstar exhaust fit a 1960 Golden flash?
Are all of the a10 exhaust down pipes the same fitting?

Chears.

Are we talking down pipes or silencers Buster

Both are available in style to fit A10s - swept back down pipes and "Goldie" silencers, I'm not sure that original RGS were sent out with Goldie silencers, some one here will know.
All the best - Bill
1961 Flash - stock, reliable, steady, fantastic for shopping
1959 Rocket Gold Flash - blinged and tarted up  would have seizure if taken to  Tesco

Hi Buster,
I know there are a set of sweptbacks on ebay at the moment BUT they would not be original BSA fitment
The RGS had options, twin pipes and silencers or siamise,
also a choise of silencer "standard" (Bottle type) or track (goldstar type)
Most people opt for siamise and goldie *smile*

The RGS original pipes were not swept back.
A standard right hand pipe can be altered to a siamese with a bit of work. And skill.
My RGS was delivered with a "cigar" shaped muffler. And 8" front brake.
