Sorry for the oil question

I was wondering if anyone could recomend an oil for running , or just use the normal stuff. I was going to put Morris SAE 40 in.

Thanks

Some people recommend diesel oil with the extra sulphur in it for cams and tappets. I did and its still going!

G'day Duncan,
I'll agree with Wilko on this one. Diesel oil is very good in a NEW motor, don't use in an old one. A 10/40 for the first 500 then head for a 20/50. Most auto parts places will have a running in oil for cars, it's also 10/40.

Thanks guys, I will give that a go and change it after 500 miles and then switch back to a monograde.
