3/8 Brake drum Bolts ,, Help
« on: 20.04. 2011 19:12 »
Ok attaching the grooved ring to the brake drum so I can attach to hub, thing is there seems no way the bolt head can sit flush .

Hard to tell from manual, are there supposed to be special washers or something ? or is #67-6038 a special shaped bolt ?

Is this the fixing of the QD ring to the rear of the sprocket brake drum?

From memory the bolt heads are special. they are a round head with a flat, the nuts are also thin. I used some alan socket bolts and ground a flat on them and also reduced the head thickness, you then need some thin locking type nuts for the inside. That if we're talk about the same thing.

I could not find any. Dragonfly listed them but did not have any at the time. Once installed they are not visible so I'm happy with me fix.
