Rocker Feed Bolt

I am unable to remove one of my Rocker feed bolts on a 1949 plunger,I believe the thread is 5/16" Cycle. The bolt has leaked for a while but will not turn in or out so I may have to resort to drilling it out,anyone know what would be the best size to drill it out so that I can readily buy a new feed bolt without too much hassle  and will the rocker shaft tap.

You say it's not coming out.  Why?  Is the rocker shaft turning?  Are the flats rounded off?  Drilling is a last resort since there's a high risk of damaging the rocker shaft.  Have you tried an impact socket?

What an idiot,While I have been turning the rocker feed bolt around and around if I had have bothered to go around the other side of the bike I would have noticed the dome nut going around and around also.DOH!!! Its off now thanks for your help. Alan
