Rocker Box Leaked - No Wonder!

Any cover should be tightened from the centre towards the ends .
It was always funny to watch some one complaining about how much their BSA leaked tightening their primary cover in a circle

Not sure which bolts are in the 'centre' of the primary cover to tighten first!

 Head bolts are the center 1st then the four outer then the four inner.
Most covers as Trevor said. Look at it as a clock, tighten 6,12,5,11,7,1,4,10,8,2,9,3.
Rocker box the four long bolts FL,RR,FR,RL then the bolt center inlet then front nuts then rear nuts.
At least thats how I've always done'em.
