Rear Number Plate Sticky Letters

Hi All,

Is it me or do we all have trouble finding anyone who sells 2 1/2" (64mm) white letters and numbers for use on rear number plates?

I have tried all the local motorcycle outlets and most of the Internet providers (burton bike bits  etc....who want a minimum order qty) to no avail.

Does anyone know of anywhere in the Bucks area that sells these sticky numbers, otherwise I won't be able to get out on my bike and the wife will have to put up with my miserable face all weekend

I've seen them in traditional hardware stores in the UK. When I was in Edinburgh our local one sold them, it was part of the Mica chain. You may have one local to you.

Any signwriting firm can cut you them out of sticky vinyl. They will come out of the machine with the correct spacing  so you just need to lay them on the plate and peel off the backing. Should only cost you a few quid.

A couple of years ago I got some here although that site seems to be not working properly for some reason.

You often see car sized numbers & letters which are far too big.
