front brake light switch bsa a10 1958

hi, not that new to classic bikes,as you may see by my previouse posts, do i need a brake light to work off the front brake for MOT  rear light works just fine . thank you mal.

Not in Australia. Bike will be registered as built.

My '62 just went through the MOT ok without one,
so I don't think so.

IIRC it's only necessary on post-83 bikes.
