Headlight bracket question
«
on:
27.11. 2011 00:17 »
I would like to run with a set of fork gators rather than the cowling set upon my A10 rebuild, and noticed that the Left hand headlight bracket has this ???? ( dimple ? ) on it... does anyone know what it's for???
Thanks in advance WozzA

They look like A65 ears with the headlight holes elongated. But not sure about the "dimples" could be for ignition switch. They are supposed to go down past the bottom tripple clamp to take the gaiter.
Cheers

Thanks Muskrat... I knew there was something amiss coz with the pinch bolt holes in the lower tree lined up they are not long enough to reach the top tree..
these ones will be getting the flick 4 a set of aftermarket ones later.

The early A65's had drop type top tripple camps so yours would be right for that.

I was looking at my mate in Townsville's restored '69 Triumph Bonny when it suddenly dawned on me where I have seen those EARS before...
