Sorry guys if this has been done to death already...I've searched but couldn't find an up to date answer.
Any advice on a reliable sealant for a petrol tank - resistant to ethanol?
Cheers

FWIW, Tapox is what I use ever since, with no problems whatsoever, so can highly recommend that stuff.
I just did a tank recently, and obviously instructions tell to coat the tank only once now. Old instructions said you could pour the stuff back into the can and keep in the fridge for up to 24 hours and use it for a second coating. That's what I did anyway (2nd layer next day), residues can be used as anti-rust/priming paint afterwards btw.
Cheers, Markus
