I always thought BSA was the most prolific UK manufacturer - or maybe it was Triumph after all?
Either way there were thousands built yet whenever I go to a bike meet of one sort or another I very rarely see one.
For example I live near a well known bikers cafe called Loomies here in the UK. Popped in there for lunch yesterday and the car park was busy - Commando's, beautiful Triton, obscure russian two strokes - even a Matchless twin. Bsa's - apart from mine - zero. Really no excuse - weather was cold but bright and sunny and there were a lot of bikes out there.
So do you ride yours in the winter? Have I got my fact's wrong? Maybe there are only a handful on the road after all...
