SRM Oil Pump
« on: 24.02. 2012 10:20 »
G'day all,

I have a question.  SRM engineering said that is recomented if you replace the original oil pump with SRM oil pump , replace and the pressure valve too.
So my question is WHY?  I have the srm oil pump but not the valve. May be make problem on the engine?
Advice?

Thanks

There is no use fitting a new high delivery oil pump if the relief valve is leaking and loosing the pressure, but if the valve and spring are in good condition I cannot see a problem I have an SRM oil pump and still have the original relief valve.
