1931 dealer letter
« on: 02.04. 2012 15:09 »
A friend of mine who lives in Townsville Queensland is gathering infomation to write a book about his family's motorcycling heritage, when he came upon this letter to his Grandfather..

The biggest lie I tell myself is
"I don't need to write that down, I'll remember it"

Nice. Gotta love the wording: "Please do not accept this letter as an advertising stunt, but rather one which is of vital importance to you ' in saving money".

Interesting reading Wozza its amazing that someone kept that letter for so long.
I also like how in those days they just wrote the name of your town Giru on the front no street etc

cheers Terry Townsville (just half hour north of Giru)
