Front fork rattle

I stripped the A10 forks during the winter and now springs rattle inside the housings. Anyone any thoughts on this.

G'day Goldy. Did you replace the stanchions? Maybe with longer A65 ones. Or the new bushes are a bit shorter, giving less preload on the springs and less grip on the covers (GS type?).
Cheers

Hi Andy - are the springs rattling because they have float (lengthwise) or are they just scraping on the sides of the covers/trousers, they do this sometimes I believe, a spot of grease in there often deadens the sound

I usually put some grease in but cannot remember if I did ( it's an age thing) will have to have a look.
