Hi guys,
On vacation in the US now and brought my 190mm brakeshoes for a fresh reline and arcing at vintage brake in California. Well, shouldn't have bothered because when I called he told me turnaround time is over 4 months!! Business must be good *smiley4*. So, need another source. I'd like to use a shop that works on old bikes/cars, rather than any old shop that doesn't know what they are working on.  Any recommendations?

If it doesn't have to be on the west coast,  I'd look up Wes Scott http://www.wesscottcycles.com/ at least call him. In Los Angeles,  I don't know if Casey's Cycle is still around or,  maybe Symonds.

Difficult using forum on cell phone.  Will start ne post.

In the Chicago area,  you could try Morrie's Place. There's a place in the San Francisco area but can't remember the name right now.

This is the shop in San Francisco I was thinking about www.sfvintagecycle.com.  I have no experience with them,  but I intend to stop in the next time I'm in S. F.  It would not surprise me if they use Vintage Brake,  but it is worth a call to see if they know anyone else.
