There is currently a Government petition relating to the frozen exemption, enough people sign and it will put forward to the government for a decision on bike post 1972 in the light of the mot ruling on vehicles older than 1960 it might be the right time to ask.

On the other hand it might be wiser to let sleeping dogs lie. The present government is hell bent on raising revenue where ever it can. This petition might just serve to remind them that there is a few more pounds to be raised by repealing the older vehicle road tax exemption.

They won't do that. It would cost more in Parliamentary time then it would raise in revenue. They certainly are hell bent on reducing our deficit though.

Signed.
