Rear Mudguard Hinge
« on: 25.07. 2012 10:29 »
Although it appears I shouldn't have one (!) my 1950 A7 has a cutout for a hinge in the 'flap' section of the rear guard.
I cannot identify this part number in my parts manual and was wondering if anyone knew of the original part number or its availability?
Many thanks
Stephen

No certain but I seem to think that it's one of the BSA ,B, series that had the flap.

The hinge was standard fitment on plungers only.
It is not a separate item but part of the front & rear mudguards.
I sent a 2 piece guard out to a sheet metal worker to get a hinge fitted.
He made the hinge bits then used the joiner from a flat belt as the pin.
