I doubt there's a number,unless it's a conical front??
You also need to be more specific with what bike/yokes.
So far as I know the bezza didn't do taper rollers in the steering head till the conical forks, and anything else for earlier models will need sleeves or adapting in some way, but I've seen conversions here and there on the fleanet??

G'day warmshed (I wish I had one) *smile*
They aren't std bearings. I just went down (to the cold shed) and measured a set.
1 x OD 2 1/8", ID 1 1/8", width outer 7/16", width of inner 5/8"
1 x OD 2 1/8", ID 1 3/16,      "                             "
Their not cheap but I find worth it. Got'em in my 3 BSA's. SRM 40 pound + postage http://www.srmclassicbikes.com/catalogue/index.php?target=categories&category_id=151

Hi warmshed, I've had them fitted to my A10 for over 8 yrs now and have just repacked them with new grease ,still good and ready for another 8 yrs. Bought  mine from George Prew who I'd really reccommend ,Goldie expert but with a lot of A!0 stuff all good quality, best wishes Bobh

Hiya Warmshed, and Musky-coldshed, sorry I misinterpreted that, thought you were after apart# not bearing#, but still wonder if they're stock bearings with sleeves?
 Cheers

I'm fairly sure the taper roller bearings that you can get from the likes of SRM or Draganfly are STD bearings that have the inside dia ground out to fit the headstock

It's probably cheaper to get them from one if the established BSA suppliers than getting the bearings and getting them ground to size?

Yes it seems that the correct size 1730 outer is available with a 1780 inner but that is just a 1" inner bore so quite a lot of grinding. Thanks for the info, Dave.
