Can't take credit for the idea, a mate had a set for his A65 racebike, but have found that having a template for the primary and timing covers in the toolbox is extremely useful not just at the track but also in the shed.

only takes 5 minutes to knock them up out of any mdf or hardboard offcuts with a jigsaw and makes keeping track of the screws and returning them to the same holes a doddle.

Was just pulling the primary down and thought I'd share...
A good rider periodically checks all nuts and bolts with a spanner to see that they are tight - Instruction Manual for BSA B series, p46, para 2.
