Star Twin paint scheme
« on: 13.05. 2008 07:02 »
This photo is supposed to be of an original Star Twin tank. Does anybody know if this is the correct top panel. BSA's didnt usually use a panel like this but maybe they did on the Star Twin. I have heaps of photos that show the side of the tank but none of the top. I am about to get my tank chromed and need to find out.                                    Brian.

I think yours is correct
mine is a 1952 which didnt have chrome as there was a worldwide Nikel shortage
Im not 100% sure but i think the black and chrome one is wrong
i think on that the black should be an oval panel
