Not 100% sure if these are the correct ones Steve but have a look. There in AUS so postage might be a killer.

I dont know what make they are Steve, I dont even know for sure they are the ones to fit a A10 but they look "fat" and are listed as being for a A10.

Hopefully someone else will know if they are right or not.

Were these a BSA part then? I had a 1954 B31 and that had the normal type rear shocks the same as my '59 A7SS.

I'm pretty sure that the fat shockies on the A10 had adjusters like the later ones.
These don't appear to have them.
I had a set like that which supposedly came from a Norton.

I've had a good look at parts books and original brochures etc and I am fairly sure those are not right for a A10.

As Trev says they should have adjusters plus the eyes top and bottom look too narrow.

I've searched the parts books and compared part numbers and I cant work out which models had the "fat" shockers. Maybe there is no specific fitment, it may have been a case of what shocks they had on hand when they assembled a bike.

No nothing like the jampots.

A bit hard to describe and I dont have one to measure, they look similar to "normal" ones but are slightly fatter, about another 1/2" in diameter.

Stephen,
Sorry; don't know the answers to your questions - I overhauled the original shocks.

I am also looking for another set; for a 1954 A7SS project.

It is amazing how you can keep learning about these bikes. I must have looked at hundreds of A7s and A10s over the 30 years since I got my first one and I've never seen rear shocks like that before  :o
