Plunger A10 oil filter

I just fitted a oil filter to my "Bitsa" plunger A10 so thought I would put something on the forum just in case anyone else was thinking of fitting one.

If you dont want to have something that is non original then this is not for you, but if you dont care and want a filter that is easy to fit and get at to replace then this is a good one. The only thing is you need to make up a fitting to go on the return side of the filter so the oil feed to the rockers has a take off point. I made a right angled fitting with a "T" piece in it.

Does it take a standard element off something else or is the element only available from the supplier of the kit?

It takes the same element as a rocket three or trident, common as mud and dirt cheap.

It came from this mob in the states. They also do a black coloured one which is cheaper, have a look at their "other items". I would have bought the black one but they were out of stock when I ordered mine.

That is the neatest solution. I'd like to see more details of the pipework. I'm considering a filter for my plunger A10.

HI Neil I am not in country at the moment but as soon as I get back I will take and post some pictures of the pipe work for you. It also has a wet sumping valve which works well.
