Castrol Valvemaster
« on: 06.11. 2012 15:45 »
Hi
Don't want to start a fuel thread for old bikes, does anyone have any views on Castrol Valvemaster. Castrol has been around many years, I like the old school.

pretty neutral view really, I use Valvemaster plus in both Flash and Rocket

The Rocket has seats for unleaded the Flash I don't believe really needs the protection both however probably benefit from the plus bit, the octane boost.
Should help with pre ignition on the rocket.

I treat it as insurance and certainly don't think it does any harm
All the best - Bill
1961 Flash - stock, reliable, steady, fantastic for shopping
1959 Rocket Gold Flash - blinged and tarted up  would have seizure if taken to  Tesco

I use it on my GF, and for the mileage I do it doesn't work out that expensive. I'm presuming in part because it says Castrol on the label that it must help.
