Solo Saddle

I'm torn between leaving the original? dual saddle in place or changing it for a solo saddle for extra comfort. I found this on listed for a Norton but the front fittings look right for the A10 plunger if I'm not mistaken.

Can anybody tell me if the springs on these saddles are a standard length or indeed what length I should look for?.
Thanks,
Peter
