Frames

Mentioned in other topic was the sale of frames with log books. I am not in that business but often wondered if there is any actual difference in the Golden Flash, Road Rocket and Super Rocket frames. does anyone know.?

None that I can see on the frame drawing Goldy - only difference in s/a frames seems to be Gold Star with the kink in the lower tube..

Hi Goldy
There are a couple of differences depending on the year and also some export models had differences
Swing arm mounting holes
lug for rear brake pivot (54-55)
Steering head gusset
Steering lock lug
Some export/ police frames had 4 cast lugs on the downtubes

These are probably only some of the differences that I can think of just now  *conf*
