Thanks for responding, Humbernut seems to be a good guy, but it would be easier to explain what I want to you as you have a (very smart, by the way!) A10 in the garage.
For the four bolts on the top of the rocker box I want the heads to be longer and reduce down to a spike. So, you would have the stock thread, stock unthreaded portion, stock head 1/4" deep and then a non stock taper from there, down to a point over a length of about 3/4". This will give me a total length of about 1" of nut above the rocker box............. I then want eight inspection cover nuts as standard, with the round section and hex section above it but with a similar taper coming to a point. So basically 4 bolts and eight nuts with tapered heads rather than machining them flat. all in stainless. .........Fancy having a go for me? If so let me know the price and how you want paying!
