Frame number

CAN ANYBODY TELL ME WHAT YEAR AND MODEL FRAME NUMBER FA7 16923 WAS? i'M BUILDING A SPECIAL WITH AN ABSAF MOTOR WITH THIS FRAME.

The vmcc uk might help with what model it was as they have the factory despatch records

If you send a tenner to the BSA owners club, they will tell you what date it left the factory, what it was and which dealer had it and what colour it was. And you get it in writing on a posh certificate.

Actually that might be a good idea, as I need to get a title for it anyway, could help with that process (i'm in south carolina).

Hi Mark,
The A7-10 frame will need modifying to fit the single cylinder ABSAF engine
the single cyl frame is kinked out to clear the oil pump bulge on the crankcase
