colin , if yours is the crinkle hub supposed QD -quickly detachable, then no bolts on sprocket ,thats the full width type whilst yours sounds like a plunger/goldie type ,I can't remember the precise details been a long time but pretty sure it's leave everything alone on left sprocket side and withdraw spindle and spacers and then pull off splines allow wheel to drop if you have the height shouldn't be a problem ,this is memory only so go carefully regards BobH.

I think you remember well Topdad, leave the left nut tight and pull the spindle out from the other side. Height might still be a problem though? Or will it come out at an angle?

Thats sounds good and what I wanted to hear. I have already bought the cuss drive buffer thing for the refit.

Colin , don't ask for two much ,at 16 both of mine ,4 years apart , were typical teenagers ie thoughtless, mess machines (Son and Daughter ) but slowly with a bit of love,care & patience and above all time they begin to put things in perspective and now I have 2 great friends as well as 2 smashing kids who I proud of, but neither have any love for bikes still you can't have everything ,hope you get the wheel sorted, regards BobH

He is a good lad and really does me proud. He has no time for bikes too. If my wife found him on the back of mine she would cut my Hagons off.
His big sister drives an X5 ( Essex Girl ). See my posting about Honda 350 on chat dept'. Could be rare.
