I am finding the old A7SS a tadge noisy, especially above 50mph or under load (I live at the top of a long steep climb). So noisy it makes my head hurt! The silencers look in good condition but appear to be straight through with a perforated absorption tube, which is possibly correct but way too loud for me and maybe the people living on the hill (I havn't stopped to ask them). Are there more effective silencers available and has anybody tried those bolt in baffles as seen on ebay etc? Earplugs are worn but though they help me I still think the bike is anti-socially loud at speed. Sounds positively pastoral and symphonic from tick-over to 30mph though.
