Colour match for red tank stripes on 1952 Star Twin.

Hi Everyone,  I've only just joined this forum so greetings to one and all. *smile*

I have recently purchased a 1952 Star Twin that is in need of a complete rebuild. I know that the tank is finished in frosted silver but can anyone help me please with the correct colour match for the red pinstripes and inlay on the Start Twin Tank badges?

Hi and welcome I have used classic paints contact email is sales@rsbikepaint.co.uk they will be able to match not cheap but good. thanks John

Hi John,

Thanks for the advice. I note that RS paints don't go back to 1952. Am I correct in thinking that the red is thw same shade as the stripes on the later a series tanks i.e. RGS?
