Rear brake arm spring
« on: 30.05. 2013 16:17 »
Next question for you guys... I have a QD hub and currently having problems fitting the return spring that goes between the outrigger strap and the operating arm. the square section that the brake arm locates into doesn't seem to have enough space for the spring.... I do hope this makes sense. The picture I have attached is looking down toward the rear brake. For the purpose of the picture I have located the operating arm without the spring.

Thanks again

Mark

My plunger framed bike has no spring there.

Mark,

The outrigger strap should be right against the swingarm.  Also, I believe you have the strap inverted -  the longer flat section is at the axle end, and the shorter offset end is at the brake lever end.
