I may have some decent pictures to show; I haven't checked my camera yet.

During the Saturday ride-out some of us were lucky enough to glimpse the Battle Of Britain flight, (a Lancaster bomber accompanied by a Hurrican and a Spitfire) as they flew over us. Impressive organisation TTJohn!

A Red Kite was seen circling our campsite. These birds have been successfully reintroduced since the 1980's when they were practically extinct in the UK.

I went to the Rally on Sunday pm, had a good chat with several old geezers but didn't intoduce myself by my forum nic. Was at broadway tower yesterday, the RAFA were re-dedicating a war memorial to the crew of a Whitley bomber that crashed there 70 years ago. There was a red kite circling above us too.

A10Boy,

Your location is not that far from me. Do you attend the Birmingham branch meetings? I haven't managed to go to one yet but I will.
