Wheel prices ???
« on: 06.06. 2013 16:59 »
I have just had my wheel rebuilt by a nice chap who lives near Brands Hatch, all stainless. He advertises in OBM. Crinkle Hub resprayed, new rim and spokes etc. £180 inc'. I had a quote from Devon rims, parts alone £228. those words Made in England don't justify that money any more.
I am not related to either party.

Regards Colin

That's a really good price, even with Indian rims & spokes.
Cheers

Hi Colin.
Had both of mine done last year by Black Cat Wheels, all s/steel, with powder coat hubs for a similar price, but Devon Rims were used.

Hi Muskrat
I fitted the tyre and wheel today along with the new S/S crinkle hub cover. Whilst cleaning down I notice the rim is stamped " Made in England" Happy days. *smiley4*
